We planned, designed & completed this kitchen project for a lovely couple in Great Sutton.
The supporting dividing wall was taken down and a calculated RSJ fitted. The back door was blocked & bricked up. A new UPVC window was supplied & fitted in the kitchen. The radiators were removed and repositioned, with new tall modern designer ones. We took the old conservatory down and made a bigger opening ready for a new orangery to be built. Because the opening was the full length at the back of the house a calculated heavy-duty RSJ needed to be fitted.
LED ceiling spotlights were fitted in the newly boarded ceiling. New electric feeds, plumbing and gas were all repositioned. Once all plastered the new kitchen which was our Lucente J-pull 22mm gloss painted doors & panels were fitted. The Spectra square edged grey peppered spark quartz 40mm laminate worktops & matching upstands, gives the impression that the worktops are solid Quartz. The wall units were extra tall to create more storage and loose the dust trap above, these were in Dove grey gloss. The island units & panels were in a contrasting Dust grey gloss, with plenty of seating space around it. There was a tall 400 pull out rack unit fitted for extra storage and convenience. There was a Hotpoint integrated dishwasher next to the grey granite sink and matching tap. Above the range cooker was an Alloy splashback and a hidden canopy extractor in the unit above. The entire floor area was self-levelled ready for new flooring.
We also built a studded wall in the dining room to create a small but usable utility room. New water feeds and a waste pipe were fitted for a washing machine. A few units and worktops finished it of nicely.
